-- Magnan or La Madeleine
The Madeleine district is a narrow area occupying one of the valleys that descend from the hills to the sea. Highly urban and quite popular, the Boulevard de la Madeleine offers the experience of a real immersion in a busy and dynamic corner of the city.
-- The Baumettes
Encompassing part of the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Baumettes district, located in the heart of Nice, has two distinct aspects. Residential on its higher ground, it becomes much more urban, commercial, and lively as you get closer to the shore. This family-friendly neighborhood is ideal for enjoying the beach and a real community atmosphere.
-- Gambetta
Living in the Gambetta district means, and foremost, being able to enjoy the sea and the beach in just a few moments while being just a few streets from the city center. More recent than the neighborhoods of the hyper center, Gambetta presents a harmonious mix of bourgeois buildings typical of 19th-century Nice urban planning, Art Deco buildings, and contemporary buildings. Although a small district, Gambetta nevertheless has several very commercial streets: Rue de France, renowned throughout the city for its boutiques. Served by the tram, this district has everything to please!
-- Le Piol - Imperial Park - Vernier
The Parc Impérial district owes its name to the Hôtel Impérial, which was built there in 1902 for the Russian community spending its winters on the Côte d'Azur. This district underwent a real transformation during the Universal Exhibition in Nice. Today, it preserves the memories of this period with magnificent buildings. Today, it is a colorful residential area, perfect for a family stay, thanks to its proximity to the sea and the local shops that will satisfy all your desires during your stay.
-- Thiers - Musicians
Mozart, Verdi, and Rossini all came to stroll through the streets of this neighborhood. The Musicians' Quarter is a symbol of Nice's architecture. It's a neighborhood appreciated for its calm and its immediate proximity to the city center of Nice. Although very close to the city center, the Musicians' Quarter offers a true neighborhood life to its residents. It is home to many local shops and restaurants.
-- Jean - Doctor
This neighborhood is primarily known for Avenue Jean-Médecin. It's one of the city's north-south traffic routes and is Nice's main shopping street. It's known to the locals as "The Avenue." You'll be just a stone's throw from the Notre-Dame Basilica and the imposing Nicetoile shopping center.
-- Carabacel
Just a stone's throw from the port and bordering the old town, this neighborhood boasts numerous shops and iconic landmarks. The Carabacel district attracts a decidedly urban and active population.
The city of Nice is known for its narrow streets and extremely dense urban fabric. While the Carabacel district is no exception, it nevertheless benefits from an exceptionally spacious area. Crisscrossed by promenades and cycle paths, shaded by palm trees and plants typical of Mediterranean vegetation, it is a meeting place for the neighborhood's residents.
