YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

You are here in the heart of Old Nice, just a few minutes' walk from all the main attractions. Just 150 m from Castel beach, 100 m from Chez Acchiardo restaurant, 150 m from Cours Saleya and its typical markets. The Opera – Old Town tram is 450 m away, and Castle Hill park is 500 m away. You will also find a Monoprix at 650 m for your shopping, the SNCF train station at 2 km, and Nice Côte d'Azur airport at 7 km. Everything is accessible on foot, in a lively, colourful neighbourhood full of charm.

The main room, with its contemporary and understated style, is ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach or on an outing. It features a convertible sofa, a dining area and a television with cable channels, as well as an ADSL internet connection and a Hi-Fi system for your leisure time.

ROOM

The separate bedroom offers you a comfortable double bed and a large dressing room to store all your belongings. It constitutes a calm and restful night space, perfectly suited for long or short stays.

CUISINE

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs: fridge/freezer, conventional oven, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and all the utensils necessary for cooking as if you were at home.

BATHROOM

Functional and modern, the bathroom includes a shower, a sink with storage cabinet and toilet. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also at your disposal.

How to get to my accommodation in Nice on arrival

I have chosen to arrive by air

Upon arriving at the airport, a wide choice of transport is available to you to get to your apartment:

The tram – The best value: Line 2 will depart in front of terminals 1 & 2, serving the entire city on the Sea Side, from the airport to Nice Port, in 25 minutes. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pine district and finally the Port district.
A connection with line 1 is made at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.
A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.

Taxis: The most direct: They are present at each terminal 1 & 2. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you off directly at your apartment. There is a fixed official rate that must be applied + the baggage charge. Make sure you enquire and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse you. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card.

The bus: The airport shuttle (bus 98) is both cheap and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the city centre, near Nice Thiers Station.

I chose to arrive by train

The tram – The best value: To get to line no. 1, exit on the left of the station and head down towards Avenue Thiers until Avenue Jean Médecin (it is indicated by signage). Trams pass every five minutes and the ticket is inexpensive. Line 1 serves the city centre and the two northern districts of Nice.
A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.
A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.

Taxis: The most direct: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you off directly at your apartment. There is no fixed rate. The driver must compulsorily activate his meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare displayed on arrival + the baggage rate. Make sure to enquire and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse you. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card.
Don't forget to have the complete address ready to give to the driver.

I chose to arrive by car

There is always a public car park near your place of residence. The rate is:

• By the hour
• By the day (24 hours)
• By the week
• By the month

It may prove more interesting to pay for a week rather than by the day for stays of more than 4 days, and so on. Be sure to check the tariff grid at the car park entrance or go to the security post as soon as you are parked.
