Castel beach in Nice: covered with pebbles, like all beaches in Nice, Castel beach is placed on the promenade of the English and the beach goers have the possibility to enjoy the sun for free unless you prefer other comforts, paying obviously. It is good to taste the joy of the French Riviera.

It stretches for 150 meters and is on the side of the Port. More precisely among the beaches along the quay of the United States, the extreme east shelters it. In front of the hill of the Castle, it nestles down below the promenade of the seaside, stairs of about thirty steps lead.

The crystalline water of the Mediterranean is suitable for swimming, which is what awaits tourists and Nice people in this area where the beach is pleasant and well cleaned. Only flat, it lacks surveillance although the nearest station of rescue is on the site of the Ponches, to 150 meters moving away to the opposite of the Port.

Castel beach is also a private beach as already mentioned above. It opens its doors from April to September to restore, sip a few glasses enjoying the musical backgrounds that let the waves hear or to offer a lazing on a mattress or a deckchair.

Having a dinner there is pleasant by admiring the exceptional view that the beach offers on the Promenade of the English as well as on the bay of the Angels.
